I definitely don't post on here enough. I always end up forgetting I even have a blog. Anyway, here's something I've been working on for a friend as a present. There's a colored version but i don't really care for it that much. There are more drawings I'd like to post up soon but I'll save that for a later date.

Oh and I almost forgot, I did end up getting rats! I have two girls. Their names are Peanut and Penelope and they're awesome!

Hmm... I've gotten good at the whole not posting thing. Evidently there are eyes everywhere, which at this point I'm not too concerned about. Anyway, I took a really long hiatus from making any art, the reasons for that are long and boring. What's important though, is that in that time I've taught myself the guitar (still not that great) and I've fallen back in love with art again. Did a show two weeks ago, nothing special there was tons of art by other local artists. Here's one of the pieces I did.

Back Again

Okay, so, I haven't posted anything in a super long time. Been kinda busy with working and family drama that has since died down. My laptop, I have a feeling is about to completely die on me (hopefully not) and i need to buy a scanner stat!

Here's something i was playing around with after watching Tekkon Kinkreet like ten million times. Definitely not finished but here it is anways. I was basically just playing around with color since i don't usually practice it that often and I'm not too comfortable using it. Hopefully soon I'll also be able to post up some more new drawings and life drawings as well.

School

So, I decided to drop out of school. I can't afford to pay nearly 30 thousand a year including interest (thanks salliemae). What I owe already is already a shitload and I'm pretty poor as it is. I know at some point I'll go back to school but it wont be for illustration. In fact I don't even want to go to art school. When I do decide to go back it'll most likely be to study theology or sociology.

Now I know my mom will be pissed but I'm not trying to worry about that right now. I have a lot of drawing to do now so umm yea... later.

Comics, Movies and Dead Hookers

So I did 24 hour comicbook over the weekend. Didn't come close to finishing mostly because I took several breaks. It was pretty fun but after 3am hit I was dead tired. I'm pretty sure there were pictures being taken, once I get my hands on them I'll be sure to post em up.

I also saw 30 Days of Night, on it's opening night. I've never been so bored in my life... absolutely boring! I literally did not react at all to that movie. No laughing, no nothing. I must say it's not what I was expecting.

Then on Sunday, Shannon, Annie and me went to the Boston Con pretty late they were packing shit up but we got to get a look around. Afterwards we went Halloween costume shopping where I decided that instead of being an 80's business woman, I was going to be an incredibly cheap looking dead hooker. Needless to say the things I needed to buy weren't expensive at all. I got a pair of long lashes, an incredibly ugly denim skirt and some blood. I have a wig at home that I'm going to wear with it. I just need some boots but I might just end up wearing sneakers.

Oh! I almost forgot! I totally want a rat for a pet now! Shannon bought a rat to feed to her snake but he wouldn't eat it. The thing was soooo cute! We were gonna just toss the rat but Annie decided to keep it.
